Summer was on its way, so with no time to spare we started on this project.

After the completion of the Cityden Up Hotel and Lucy’s Kitchen there was still the bare rooftop on the seventh floor of the hotel. Maison Mignot was asked to design a cool and fun hangout for the young clientele, where they can take in the views of the city. Starting with a few sketches, we decided on a wooden bar, a huge lounge sofa and bar tables.  We picked furniture that can withstand the elements and worked together with a local carpenter who made all of the wooden goods. Adding string-lights, soft materials, bright cushions and bamboo, we created a mini-oasis in the city, to enjoy the morning sun with a freshly brewed coffee or well into the night with a summer cocktail.
